Where can I pick up my produce?

We have drop sites in Joseph and Enterprise. Shares can also be delivered to Wallowa, Elgin, and La Grande.

When can I pick up my produce?

For 2013, Joseph CSA shares will be available for pick-up on Thursdays, 5 to 7 pm, starting June 6. Enterprise shares can be picked up during the farmers’ market on Thursdays, 4 to 7 pm, beginning June 6. In Union County, the delivery schedule is also 5-7 pm on Thursdays, available for pick up at a member’s home in La Grande or directly from the Community Connections shuttle along its route.

What kinds of produce will I get?

In farming, as in life, there are no guarantees, but the following table gives you an idea of when we typically harvest various crops. Some crops may only be available to traditional CSA members.

How do I sign up?

Fill out the CSA form. Then, send a check for your deposit to us at Backyard Gardens, PO Box 463, Joseph OR 97846. Please note that a $50 deposit (or payment in full, for the salad and flower shares) is required to secure your spot in the CSA.
